Position:
EveryoneOn is entering an exciting stage of national growth, and we are looking for a Development Associate to join our dynamic team in delivering access to opportunity for millions of low-income Americans. The Development Associate will work closely with EveryoneOn CEO, Chief Programs Officer (CPO), and regional staff to design and implement the organization’s fundraising plan.
Key responsibilities:
Work with CEO and CPO to create and implement annual fundraising strategy and plan for achieving fundraising goals.
Manage EveryoneOn’s national and regional fundraising operations.
Perform regular correspondence and outreach to current and prospective investors, including corporate, individual, and foundation donors, as outlined in development plan.
Research potential new funding sources, develop relationships, and create new funding streams for EveryoneOn.
Perform ongoing grant management, reporting, and stewardship of existing donors.
Lead the grant writing process, including writing, managing content partners, editing, and managing drafts.
Manage the institutional donor database, correspondence, and history using EveryoneOn’s CRM platform.
Lead design and implementation of crowdfunding campaign in 2016.
Develop EveryoneOn’s individual donor base; manage annual giving campaign; cultivate major gifts.
Work with Communications Manager to plan and implement high-profile events featuring key donors and stakeholders.
Other responsibilities as required.
Qualifications / skills:
BA required.
4-5 years of experience in development and fundraising.
Ability to contribute to a diverse combination of fundraising efforts with high-level of quality and independence.
Strong writer who is able to effectively communicate EveryoneOn value proposition to national and local stakeholders.
Proven success in achieving non-profit fundraising targets.
Deadline-driven, detail-oriented, and able to multi-task.
Strong digital acumen; experience using a donor relationship management system to manage a prospect pipeline.
Confident public speaker, strong presentation skills, comfortable delivering information to high level audiences (CEO’s, Board members, etc.)
Passionate about making an impact by providing access to opportunity for all - regardless of race, age, or socioeconomic status.
